KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor are banking on their solid home record as they take on Thai side Bangkok United in their AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) clash at the MBPJ Stadium tomorrow evening.

The Red Giants are unbeaten at home this season, winning three matches in the FA Cup and the Super League but Selangor coach Katsuhito Kinoshi said that the advantage would mean nothing if his players cannot secure full points.

Kinoshi hinted that he would be fielding his strongest line-up, meaning no player is guaranteed a place despite there being no foreign player restrictions in ACL2.

"We will play 100 per cent to win and target qualification for the next round. Statistically, every team has an advantage playing at home. We have that advantage, but it depends on us. We should not overthink it. Our focus should be on how we play," said the Japanese coach in the pre match press conference.
