MUAR: A mechanic was sent to the Muar Correctional Centre after failing to pay the RM32,000 bail set by the Sessions Court today for four charges of raping a teenage girl.
Rahmat Rashid, 22, pleaded guilty to three of the four charges before judge Mohd Khairi Haron, who set Oct 22 for the facts and sentencing.
The court set bail at RM8,000 for each charge.
The same date was set for the submission of documents and the appointment of a lawyer for the charge to which Rahmat pleaded not guilty.
