Subscribers of Netflix and Tamil cinema audiences won't be able to view Good Bad Ugly on the streaming platform, as the film has been removed from the platform. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly starred Ajith Kumar in the lead.

The move follows the verdict of Justice N Senthilkumar, who restrained the producers from exhibiting the film with songs composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Good Bad Ugly featured Ilaiyaraaja songs like 'Ottha Ruba Tharen', 'En Jodi Manja Kuruvi', and 'Ilamai Idho Idho'.

The judge noted that the music composer's legal team, in a four-page notice, noted that the songs have been "used, altered, and commercially exploited" without getting prior permission or payment of royalties to Ilaiyaaraja despite him holding all legal rights to his work. However, the production firm's response lacked specifics on the claimed authorisation from copyright owners, prompting the judge to grant an interim injunction in favour of the plaintiff due to insufficient evidence.
