The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) has officially resumed operations of its F/A-18D Hornet fighter jets after grounding the fleet due to the August 21 crash at Kuantan Air Base. RMAF Chief General Datuk Seri Muhamad Norazlan Aris confirmed that a successful test flight was conducted to evaluate the aircraft's aerodynamics. Investigations revealed that the crash was caused by a birdstrike that damaged the left engine. The resumption marks a key step in restoring Malaysia’s air defense readiness.
