The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will intensify border security efforts along the Kelantan-Thailand border to curb smuggling activities, said Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail. Speaking after the 17th PDRM Public Officers Assembly in Kota Bharu, he emphasized close cooperation with other enforcement agencies to enhance control measures. Khalid expressed confidence in Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat’s leadership and highlighted ongoing efforts to address border challenges. The police are committed to strengthening enforcement to protect national security and reduce illegal cross-border activities.
