KOTA KINABALU — A lawyer representing a student witness in the Zara Qairina Mahathir inquest has lodged a police report after the minor’s personal details were leaked online. Datuk Ram Singh said the witness’s full name, address, and IC number were circulated on social media and WhatsApp just as the student was set to testify. A TikTok video also allegedly revealed the names of five children accused in the case. Singh condemned the breach, calling it traumatic and a violation of the witness’s privacy, and urged authorities to investigate the source of the leak.
