IPOH — A 41-year-old restaurant owner is in serious condition after his right hand became trapped in a meat grinder while preparing fish fillet at his eatery in Chemor. The Perak Fire and Rescue Department received the distress call at 8.17pm and quickly dispatched a team to the scene. When rescuers arrived, the man's hand was still lodged in the machine, and he was conscious but in severe pain. Medical personnel from the Health Ministry had to administer anaesthesia before a delicate rescue operation could begin. Authorities are investigating the incident.
