SHAH ALAM — Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar said more engagement sessions will be held before the Mufti (Federal Territories) Bill 2024 is re-tabled in the Dewan Rakyat. Speaking at the Karnival Keluarga Sejahtera 2025, he emphasised the need to clarify misconceptions surrounding the Bill. The Federal Territories Mufti Department has been tasked with expanding outreach efforts to ensure all stakeholders fully understand its purpose. “The Bill remains in Parliament—it has not been withdrawn or scrapped,” he stressed, adding that timing will depend on public readiness and clarity
