KOTA BHARU — Thai authorities have seized 450,000 yaba pills worth RM1.8 million (13.5 million baht) in a failed attempt to smuggle them into Malaysia via courier services. Acting on intelligence, the Sungai Golok Narcotics Prevention and Control Centre monitored a delivery drop-off in the district but found no one arriving to claim the package. All drugs were confiscated and sent to the Sungai Golok Police Station for further investigation. Authorities believe the pills were destined for Malaysian distribution networks.
