KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — City Hall (DBKL) has launched a targeted operation to clear pedestrian walkways along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman from illegal trading activities.

The city council said the initiative was designed to protect public safety and accessibility on one of the capital’s busiest streets.

Several traders had placed their equipment and goods on sidewalks and public routes without permission, prompting DBKL’s intervention.

During the operation, officers seized trolleys, beverage containers, gas cylinders and other commercial tools from four unlicensed setups.

The city council said the initiative was designed to protect public safety and accessibility on one of the capital’s busiest streets.
