HONG KONG — Firefighting operations at Hong Kong’s deadliest blaze in decades have ended, a government spokesperson told AFP Friday, with the death toll at 94 and scores still missing.

According to the fire service, the flames were “largely extinguished” as of 10.18am (0218 GMT) and “firefighting operations have ended”, a government spokesperson told AFP by phone.
