Sabah FC head coach Juan Torres Garrido has warned his squad not to underestimate Perak FC ahead of their Challenge Cup semi-final first-leg clash tonight at the Manjung Municipal Council Stadium. Despite being favorites, Garrido pointed to Perak's previous upset victory over Kuala Lumpur FC in the Malaysia Cup as proof of their giant-killing potential. The "Rhinos" are aiming for a disciplined away performance to carry an advantage back to Likas Stadium for the return leg.

The match, scheduled for 10:00 PM, is a critical fixture for Sabah as they look to secure silverware this season. Meanwhile, Sabah striker Darren Lok has reassured fans he is recovering well after a scary collision with a drainage wall during a recent league match against Negeri Sembilan. His availability for tonight’s game remains a key talking point for the team's offensive strategy.

The Malaysian Football League (MFL) is also currently running a public vote for the "Save of the Round" from the 2025-26 Malaysia Cup, featuring top goalkeepers like JDT’s Kalamullah Al-Hafiz and Selangor’s Aqil Razak. Fans have until 11:55 PM tonight to cast their votes on the official MFL website.
