The Tamil romantic comedy Youth, starring Ken Karunas and Anishma Anilkumar, has officially become one of the most profitable Kollywood releases of 2024–2026. As of today, the film has crossed the ₹50 crore (approximately RM28 million) mark in worldwide box office collections within just 11 days of its release. Directed by Ken Karunas in his directorial debut, the film has achieved over 200% returns on its modest budget, making it the third most profitable Tamil film of the year so far.

The movie's success is largely attributed to its "soulful" soundtrack composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and a relatable, lighthearted narrative that has resonated with youth audiences across India and Malaysia. Despite facing competition from larger big-budget titles, its steady performance during the recent Ugadi holidays helped it recover its entire production cost within the first four days. Critics have praised the lead pair's chemistry, cementing the film as a sleeper hit of the season.

In Malaysia, GSC Cinemas and TGV Cinemas continue to host daily screenings of the film to meet ongoing demand. This milestone further highlights the growing market for independent, content-driven Tamil cinema in the region. Fans of the lead actors are already looking forward to their next projects following this breakthrough success.
