Lucasfilm and Disney have unveiled the final trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, focusing on the deep emotional bond between the titular characters. This first-ever theatrical film for the hit Star Wars series is directed by Jon Favreau and is set to debut in cinemas and IMAX on May 22, 2026. The trailer highlights their most perilous mission yet as they navigate a galaxy where Imperial warlords still lurk.

The movie features a star-studded cast, including Pedro Pascal reprising his role as Din Djarin, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Brendan Wayne. Early details confirm appearances from familiar faces like Zeb (voiced by Steve Blum) and Colonel Ward (Sigourney Weaver), while Ludwig Göransson returns to compose the score.

Advance tickets for the film have officially gone on sale today, as the marketing campaign shifts into high gear ahead of the May premiere. The film is expected to be a major "celebration" of the characters rather than the start of a new trilogy, filling the slot Disney previously reserved for an untitled Star Wars project.
