World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler strongly criticized the course setup at the PGA Championship today, calling the pin placements "absurd." He noted that the current layout presents some of the hardest conditions he has ever encountered in his professional career.

Despite these incredibly tough conditions on the course, veteran golfer Justin Rose managed to secure his spot for the weekend action. He advanced dramatically by sinking a clutch eagle on his very final hole of the round.

The brutal setup proved too much for several other top-tier players in the field. Notably, major champion Bryson DeChambeau struggled heavily against the difficult pins and ultimately missed the weekend cut.
