The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) revealed in its latest analytical report that Ukrainian forces successfully reclaimed more territory over the past month than Russia captured. The shift in operational momentum is largely credited to highly targeted Ukrainian strikes aimed directly at Russian logistical supply bases.

While the liberated zones represent a relatively small portion of the overall front line, international observers note the tactical success demonstrates the effectiveness of ongoing foreign military aid. Concurrently, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that over 35,000 Russian troops were killed or severely wounded during the last two months of clashes.

The sudden battlefield shift has delivered a noticeable psychological blow to opposing military campaigns along the eastern front. However, Ukrainian command units are continuing to fortify their defensive lines as intelligence reports indicate that Russia is actively restructuring its forces for a potential wave of air strikes.
