The Kangar Sessions Court today officially acquitted and discharged the son of a former Perlis Menteri Besar from several criminal charges related to the submission of fraudulent financial claims. The initial prosecution had alleged that the accused was involved in submitting false claims amounting to over RM19,000 to government agencies for work that was allegedly never fully completed.
