Even before its release, 'Jailer 2' continues to dominate headlines, with fresh reports now focusing on its highly anticipated audio launch. According to multiple media reports, the film's team had explored the possibility of hosting the grand event in Malaysia, but Superstar Rajinikanth reportedly declined the proposal.

The reports claim that Malaysian distributor Datuk Malik, who previously organized the audio launch of 'Jana Nayagan' in Malaysia, recently met Rajinikanth to discuss the idea. However, the actor is said to have expressed reservations about holding another major audio launch in the country.

According to the reported claim, Rajinikanth felt that since 'Jana Nayagan' had already celebrated its audio launch in Malaysia, hosting 'Jailer 2' there could create unnecessary comparisons with Vijay. The Superstar reportedly wanted to avoid any perception of rivalry and preferred not to fuel fan debates.

The reports have generated widespread discussion among cinema fans. Many have praised Rajinikanth's reported stance as a gesture of mutual respect, while others believe the final decision on the venue should rest with the film's production team. As of now, the makers have not officially announced the date or location of the 'Jailer 2' audio launch.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, 'Jailer 2' is one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year. Rajinikanth reprises his lead role, with the film reportedly featuring S.J. Suryah, Vijay Sethupathi, Hrithik Roshan, and Vidya Balan in key roles. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while fans continue to await an official announcement from the production team regarding the film's promotional events.

Note: The information about the Malaysia audio launch has been reported by entertainment media, but no official confirmation has been issued by the makers or Rajinikanth's team.
