"I was sent off by my mother with love, and when I returned, she was no longer there," Kiccha Sudeep expressed with deep emotion regarding the passing of his mother.
Bengaluru—Kiccha Sudeep, a prominent Kannada actor, is known for his work in various films, including some in Tamil. He has been hosting the Kannada version of Bigg Boss since 2013 and recently announced that he would be stepping away from the current season.
Sudeep's mother, Sarojah Sanjeev, passed away in the hospital yesterday morning due to health complications. Many in the Kannada film industry have extended their condolences and offered support during this difficult time.
In a heartfelt post on his X platform, Sudeep wrote: "My mother was impartial, loving, forgiving, and gave my life its meaning. She was a god in human form to me—my teacher, my well-wisher, and my first fan, who even loved my worst films. Today, she has turned into beautiful memories.
I received news before going to the Bigg Boss stage that my mother had been admitted for treatment. After speaking with my sister and the doctor at the hospital, I headed to the Bigg Boss set. While I was on stage, I was informed that my mother was seriously ill.
For the first time in my life, I faced a situation where I felt helpless. While discussing issues in Saturday’s Bigg Boss episode, my mind was consumed with thoughts of my mother’s health. My mother always taught me to finish the work I accepted diligently. After wrapping up the shooting for the episode, I went to the hospital. My mother was on a ventilator, and I couldn’t see her while she was conscious.
Everything changed within a few hours. I can’t accept this harsh reality that has affected me deeply. My mother sent me off with love before I went to shoot, and now she is gone. Something invaluable in my life has left me. Miss you, Mom!
