KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22* — A gas explosion during an air-conditioning refill at a Chow Kit shopping complex injured three men yesterday around 3pm.
The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 3:20 pm and dispatched seven personnel from the Titiwangsa Fire Station.
Upon arrival, they found a local building manager and two Myanmar contractors injured. Fortunately, there was no fire, but the explosion caused part of the seventh-floor ceiling to collapse.
The victims were treated by a Health Ministry medical team, and police have launched an investigation.
