Throughout her career, she acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and even Hindi films.

After marrying director Suresh Chandra Menon in 1986, Revathi shifted her focus to television as film roles began to decline. She starred in popular Tamil serials like Nakhti Oru Pagal and Anbu Manam. In addition to acting, she has directed over five films and is currently working on a web series for Hotstar.
