The Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has now shared that you will be able to integrate MyDigital ID on the MyTax platform from 1 January 2025. With this move, you can log in to the MyTax platform with the MyDigital ID option rather than the existing login account option. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the full implementation of MyDigital ID on MyTax will come into force on 1 January 2027. At that time, you will need to use MyDigital ID to access the IRB platform. In case you didn’t know, MyDigital ID is a digital identity solution by the government, allowing users to register just one account and use it to log in to various government services.

In addition to LHDN, JPJ has also integrated its support through the MyJPJ application. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
