KUANTAN, Nov 4 — A farm worker, Leong Wai Seng, 57, from Kuala Kangsar, Perak, was found drowned near the mouth of Sungai Balok today after being reported missing while searching for mussels on Saturday.

Kuantan Police Chief ACP Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu confirmed that villagers discovered Leong's body around 6:30 PM, approximately five kilometers from where he went missing. 

The victim's employer identified the body, and a physical examination revealed no injuries. Leong's body has been sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital for further processing.

Leong had been with five others, including his employer before he ventured alone to the river mouth to gather mussels and subsequently went missing.
