Reports have emerged that Varalakshmi Sarathkumar will play a key role in Vijay's upcoming film, Thalapathy 69, directed by H. Vinod. Following the success of Kot by Venkat Prabhu, this film is generating massive anticipation as it is expected to be Vijay's final movie before retiring from acting to focus on politics. 

The film, produced by KVN Productions, is currently in full-swing production, and Varalakshmi's involvement has fans buzzing. Known for her powerful roles in Tamil cinema, including her memorable performance as a villain in Sarkar, speculation is high about whether she'll reprise a negative role in Thalapathy 69. 

The film also stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Naren, Priyamani, Mamita Baiju, and is in talks with Kannada actor Sivarajkumar for a role.
