Police are searching for the driver of a Toyota Hilux who led officers on a 180km chase from Muar to Kuala Lumpur early yesterday. The pursuit began around 2:45 AM when the driver ran a red light at Jalan Bakri, Muar, and refused to stop when flagged by police. Despite efforts from local and federal forces, the suspect managed to evade capture by driving up a high embankment and into the opposite lane at Jalan Chan Sow Lin. The driver is now being sought, with investigations underway under multiple sections of the Penal Code and Road Transport Act. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information.
