Kulai Man Arrested for Brutal Murder of Elderly Pensioner
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a 67-year-old pensioner in Senai, Johor, on November 30. Police, acting on intelligence, apprehended the suspect on December 3 and seized a knife believed to be used in the crime. Preliminary investigations suggest the murder stemmed from a dispute between the suspect and the victim. The suspect is under remand and faces a possible murder charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty or 30-40 years in prison.
