Three Escape Unhurt, One Injured in Head-On Collision on Jalan Miri-Bintulu

MIRI — Three people escaped unharmed while one driver was injured in a head-on collision between a Proton Iriz and a Perodua Kancil on Jalan Miri-Bintulu yesterday. The crash occurred around 1:03 pm, and rescue teams from the Miri Central Fire and Rescue Department responded swiftly, arriving at the scene 27km away.

The Proton Iriz’s driver and passengers were safely extricated by bystanders before Bomba's arrival. Meanwhile, the driver of the Perodua Kancil was taken to Bekenu Health Clinic by ambulance for medical treatment. The extent of the Kancil driver's injuries was not immediately known. After ensuring all occupants were safely out, Bomba personnel cleared the scene.
