KUALA LUMPUR — A total of 8,909 students have received offers to join Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) for the 2025 academic year, according to MARA chairman Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki. Of the successful applicants, 7,229 will enter Form 1 and 1,680 will begin Form 4.
MARA received 93,635 applications, with students selected based on meeting the minimum qualifications, including the MRSM Entrance Aptitude Test (UKKM). Asyraf Wajdi emphasized MARA’s commitment to inclusivity, with 60% of placements allocated to students from low-income (B40) families and rural areas.
To support these students, MARA is offering assistance for essentials like uniforms and books, particularly for those facing financial difficulties. Parents are encouraged to reach out to MARA offices for help.
The offer confirmation process began today, and applicants must confirm their acceptance within seven days to secure their place. Those still awaiting an offer can check their status on January 13, with additional updates available on January 27, March 3, and March 17.
