Fake Cop Arrested for Robbing Felda Residents in Lahad Datu
LAHAD DATU — A 39-year-old man was arrested on Monday for allegedly robbing Felda Sahabat 6 residents while impersonating a police officer. The suspect, a former auxiliary police officer, was detained at a house in Kampung Tanjung Labian, Tungku, after authorities received public tip-offs.
Police found him in possession of police attire and an air rifle. Investigations revealed his involvement in several extortion cases, and he is now facing charges for robbery, impersonating a public servant, and illegal possession of firearms.
