Johor Baru South District Police are investigating an assault captured in a viral video, in which a Puspakom staff member was slapped by a customer. The incident occurred on November 18, 2024, at Puspakom Taman Daya, Johor Baru, after the 38-year-old staff member informed the 59-year-old customer that his lorry had failed inspection. The victim later filed a police report. The suspect is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing injury, which could result in up to one year in prison, a fine of RM2,000, or both. Police have urged anyone with information to contact Inspector Mohd Syahriezam Shamri.
