KUALA LUMPUR: Super League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) had no trouble thrashing Kedah 6-1 at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Star on Saturday, sealing their 21st win of the season.

Brazilian striker Bergson da Silva stole the show with a hat-trick, netting in the 17th, 23rd, and 90th minutes.

JDT's other goals came from Romel Morales (18th), Jordi Amat (61st) and Nazmi Faiz Mansor (83rd), while Afeeq Iqmal Rosli scored Kedah's lone goal in the 33rd minute.

JDT, who clinched their 11th Super League title last month, lead the table with 64 points from 22 matches. Kedah, meanwhile, sit 11th with 20 points from 21 games.
