Following his one-year reappointment as Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Azam Baki pledged to persist in the fight against corruption, abuse of power, and misconduct. He expressed gratitude to the King and Prime Minister for the renewed trust, emphasizing his commitment to leading MACC towards a just and prosperous nation. Azam also reiterated MACC's dedication to improving Malaysia's Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) score to enhance the country's international standing.
