Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution has reaffirmed Malaysia’s strong commitment to safeguarding Bangladeshi workers from exploitation, fraud, and manipulation. During a meeting with Dr Asif Nazrul, adviser to Bangladesh’s Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare, Saifuddin emphasized ongoing efforts to reduce migration costs and improve foreign worker management.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also expressed appreciation for Bangladesh’s support. Separately, Human Resources Minister Steven Sim discussed strengthening cooperation to ensure fair, safe, and ethical employment conditions, highlighting Malaysia’s commitment to social protection and worker welfare under the MADANI framework.
