TAPAH — Twin three-year-old girls suffered minor injuries in an accident involving a container lorry and SUV on the North-South Expressway near Tapah this morning.
According to Tapah police, the lorry — carrying limestone — lost control due to a tyre burst and overturned into the opposite lane, colliding with the SUV. The SUV's passengers, including the twins’ parents, were unharmed. PLUS advised drivers to divert via Sungkai or Slim River exits as vehicle recovery operations are underway.
