WASHINGTON — President Trump unveiled plans for the “Golden Dome,” a $175 billion missile defense system aimed at intercepting missiles from anywhere, including space. Initial funding of $25 billion was announced, with full operation expected in about three years. The US Space Force will lead the project, and Canada has shown interest in joining.
