Parts of New South Wales have received over four months of rain in just two days. Kempsey Mayor Kinnie Ring described the situation as "deafening and horrible," with over 20,000 people isolated in her area. State Premier Chris Minns warned of more bad news, attributing the increasing frequency of such natural disasters to climate change and warmer sea temperatures.
