Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” the theme of Malaysia’s Asean Chairmanship, must guide the bloc’s future. Speaking at the 46th Asean Summit, he said these principles reflect both aspirations and obligations for equitable growth and resilience. Anwar thanked Asean leaders for supporting Malaysia’s push to advance the Asean Community Vision 2045. The summit also features the 2nd Asean-GCC and inaugural Asean-GCC-China Summits to strengthen regional cooperation.
