A 38-year-old woman suspected of attacking a spa owner with acid in Beris Kubur Besar, Bachok, has had her remand extended by four days until May 30 to assist ongoing investigations under Section 326 of the Penal Code. She was initially arrested on May 21. A second suspect, a 45-year-old man, is also under a seven-day remand until May 29. The victim, injured on May 17, is recovering at the Burn Unit of Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital.
