The preliminary report on the Teluk Intan crash that killed nine Federal Reserve Unit members will be presented to the Cabinet next week, said Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook. The crash occurred on May 13 when an FRU truck collided with a gravel lorry. The special task force, chaired by Tan Chee Kee, is investigating the cause and road safety issues. Separately, Loke ordered Prasarana Malaysia to install passenger safety doors at all LRT stations after a Taiwanese man died falling onto tracks in Puchong, noting that newer MRT and monorail stations already have such safety barriers.
