Around 100 dead cats were found in the filthy home of a staffer from Japanese animal welfare group Animal Assist Senju, which said the woman acted without the group's knowledge. The house was filled with faeces and urine, and some cats were in horrific condition. Authorities have rescued 12 live cats, and the woman is now barred from keeping animals. It's unclear if legal action will follow.
