SEOUL — South Korea’s new President Lee Jae-myung and Japan’s Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba agreed in a phone call to strengthen bilateral relations and continue coordinating on North Korea. Lee emphasized pragmatic diplomacy and three-way security cooperation with Japan and the US. Both leaders plan to meet soon to further develop ties.
