KUALA TERENGGANU — The Terengganu government is providing immediate aid, counselling, and psychosocial support to families of UPSI students involved in the fatal bus crash near Tasik Banding, which claimed 15 lives.
State executive councillor Datuk Satiful Bahri Mamat said relevant agencies have been instructed to coordinate with UPSI, hospitals, and federal authorities to ensure victims’ families receive the necessary help.
He extended heartfelt condolences, noting that many of the victims were Terengganu natives returning to campus after the Aidiladha holidays. He urged Malaysians to pray for the deceased and for the recovery of the injured.
