KUALA LUMPUR — Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Md Amin Md Taff confirmed that UPSI students were among those involved in a deadly bus crash on the East-West Highway near Tasik Banding, Gerik, early today, which claimed 15 lives.
The bus, traveling from Jerteh, Terengganu, collided with a Perodua Alza. Md Amin urged the public to keep the victims in their prayers and is heading to Gerik Hospital to visit the injured and gather more information.
UPSI expressed condolences on its official Facebook page, mourning the tragedy.
