KYIV — Russia unleashed a large-scale overnight drone attack on Ukraine, targeting Kyiv and the southern port city of Odesa.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged residents to stay in shelters as explosions and gunfire echoed across the capital. Fires broke out in multiple districts, damaging buildings and vehicles, though no casualties were reported.
In Odesa, drones struck a maternity hospital, an emergency ward, and residential areas, causing fires but no injuries, according to regional officials.
Despite ongoing U.S.-led efforts to broker a ceasefire, Moscow continues its assaults on Ukrainian cities.
