JOHOR BARU — Johor JPJ issued 5,744 summonses and seized 83 vehicles during a special Aidiladha operation from June 4 to June 10.
Director Azmil Zainal Adnan said checks on 45,395 vehicles found major offences including 1,264 cases of no Competent Driving Licence (CDL), 1,163 expired road taxes, 1,021 uninsured vehicles, and 134 without vocational licences.
Traffic violations also included overtaking on double lines, using mobile phones, running red lights, and not wearing helmets or seatbelts. A total of 66 motorcycles, 9 cars, and 8 other vehicles were confiscated.
