AHMEDABAD — Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, the only survivor among 242 onboard the crashed Air India Dreamliner, described how he “slipped out” after the jet exploded into a hostel moments after takeoff in Ahmedabad. Speaking from his hospital bed, the British national said he was in seat 11A and unfastened his belt to escape through a broken door after the plane hit the building. His brother was also aboard. Prime Minister Modi visited Ramesh, who is recovering from burns. The crash killed 265 people, including at least 24 on the ground. DNA testing is underway to identify the victims.
