KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim strongly condemned Israel’s military strike on Iran, which reportedly killed a top Iranian figure. Calling the act “reckless,” Anwar warned it threatens global peace and undermines ongoing diplomatic talks, especially between the US and Iran.
He urged Israel’s allies to step in and stop further aggression. The strike comes amid rising criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza and growing pressure on PM Netanyahu.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the military have vowed retaliation, placing their air defences on full alert. Iran warned both Israel and the US would face consequences.
