IPOH — Police are investigating a Facebook post mocking the deaths of UPSI students in a recent road accident in Gerik.
The post, made under the name “Khalid Yunus,” drew public outrage. Manjung police chief ACP Hasbullah Abd Rahman confirmed that a report was filed at 4.40pm yesterday.
The case is being investigated under Section 504 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
Meanwhile, the Perak Education Department has asked a school to submit a full report on a teacher allegedly behind the post.
