Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, made a brief appearance at a Manhattan federal courthouse to support music mogul Sean Combs, who is on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering. West did not enter the courtroom but watched a portion of the proceedings via closed-circuit video with one of Combs’s sons before leaving. When asked if he was there in support, West confirmed with a nod and a simple "Yes."
His appearance came a day after a woman testifying under the alias "Jane" shared disturbing details of alleged drug-fueled sex sessions orchestrated by Combs, aligning with earlier testimony from his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Jurors have been hearing about Combs’s alleged control over staff and former partners for nearly a month.
Combs, 55, faces life in prison if convicted but has pleaded not guilty, with his legal team claiming the acts were consensual. The trial is set to continue through June.
