TAFTAN — Thousands of Pakistanis, including students, have returned home from Iran following intense airstrikes exchanged between Israel and Iran.
Mohammad Hassan, a University of Tehran student, described the nights as “horrifying,” with drones, missiles, and explosions lighting up the sky. He said one student dormitory was hit, injuring several students but causing no deaths.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, about 3,000 citizens have returned so far as countries rush to evacuate their nationals from the escalating conflict zone. Hassan added that over 500 Pakistani students from his university alone are on their way back.
